Monthly Ohio Workdays

Four hours of focused neighborhood work

Every month, hundreds of Ohioans gather across five cities to clear parks, paint public schools, and build community gardens. We supply the tools and lunch.

Arrive at the host site for hot coffee, project assignments, and safety orientation. Pick up your name tag and meet your crew leader.

Grab work gloves, safety glasses, and heavy hand tools from our trailer. Crew leaders outline specific tasks, safety zones, and build goals.

Two and a half hours of solid physical labor. We haul mulch, paint hallways, clear invasive brush, or pack pantry boxes alongside neighbors.

Clean down equipment, pack the tool trailers, and share local pizza and cold drinks. You walk away with finished work by 1:00 PM.

Workday Preparation

What to bring this Saturday

We handle heavy tools, safety gear, and disposal dumpsters. Your only responsibility is dressing properly for active outdoor labor.

Closed-Toe Shoes

Water & Weather Layers

Gloves & Hand Tools

Sturdy work boots or thick-soled sneakers are required on every work site. Open sandals, mesh slippers, and canvas flats are strictly prohibited for safety.

Bring a refillable 32-ounce canteen and clothes you do not mind staining with dirt, grease, or wet paint. Work carries forward rain or shine.

We supply sanitized work gloves, safety goggles, shovels, rakes, and wheelbarrows. You may also bring your own favorite hand tools if labeled.
